Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician
Toowoomba Toyota has a great opportunity for an experienced Used Vehicle ReconditioningTechnician to join our team!
Main areas of Responsibility
- Perform a range of testing to repair, diagnose and service vehicles, in accordance with Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, Toyota servicing and warranty guidelines.
Key job functions & Accountabilities include
- Carry out road worthy inspection reports
- Complete Toyota Certification inspection
- Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
- Complete vehicle services as per Toyota’s maintenance schedule
- Complete warranty repairs, as required under Toyota warranty procedures including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components
- Repairing and or reconditioning vehicles as directed
- Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to PD controller, Used car manager and record on repair order. Record all relevant written information as required for all service work completed.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range
- Maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment, adhere to WH&S guidelines
- Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to customers
- Providing high level customer service
- Ensuring that all work areas are kept clean, and organised
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- Trade qualifications as an Automotive Service Technician
- Examiner license
- Ability to work productively unsupervised
- Highly motivated
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Current valid Qld manual drivers’ licence

The Phone Hub Reception carries out a range of duties including but not limited to:
- Receiving all incoming calls in a professional manner and assisting where required.

- Capturing and recording customer details
- Directing/assisting Service appointment bookings to a service contact in professional manner
