New Vehicle Stock Assistant

Continued high levels of success and growth in the vehicle sales environment has led to the creation of a new position within our Pre-delivery team. The successful applicant keen to grab this opportunity will complete the following tasks as part of their employment:

Key job functions and responsibilities:

  • Checking in new vehicle arrivals - checking for damage 
  • Fuelling of Stock
  • Maintain vehicle holding yards 
  • Collecting vehicles from holding yards and delivering to technicians to work on
  • Delivery and collecting vehicles ready for tray fitment
  • Assist in keeping work areas clean

Required skills/experience:

  • Ability to work productively unsupervised 
  • Excellent time-management skills 
  • Excellent organisational skills 
  • Must have a current, valid QLD drivers' licence (manual and automatic)

Automotive Technician

Key job functions and responsibilities:

  • Repairing, servicing and performing diagnosis of Toyota motor vehicles
  • Working to deadlines and prioritising your workload
  • Maintaining the highest level of productivity and efficiency 
  • Liaising with Workshop Control, Parts Interpreters and the Service Manager
  • Attending factory technical training 
  • Weekly and monthly bonuses paid on achievement of targets 

Required skills/experience:

  • Be a fully trade qualified Mechanic/Technician 
  • Have a proven history of diagnostic/repair experience
  • Be punctual, a great communicator with a positive attitude
  • Have Dealership experience and training with Toyota and Lexus vehicles (whilst not necessary, it would be highly regarded)
  • Have Dealership experience and training with another manufacturer would also be advantageous. 
  • The successful candidate will enjoy working in clean, modern facilities with above award wages and would be a part of a highly trained technical team

Stock Controller 

Stock Control is a vital role within the business and is critical to the New & Used Vehicle Sales Departments. Situated in the Dealerships main showroom and working closely with the registrations clerk, managers and salespeople from the varied sales teams, the Stock Controller reports directly to the Dealer Principal. The continued growth in sales means this is both a busy and rewarding role.

Key job functions and responsibilities:

  • Work with Toyota and Lexus in regard to ordering, dispatching and arrival of new stock 
  • Receiving salespersons vehicle orders, allocating stock available and sourcing vehicles from Toyota or other dealers
  • Processing QFleet/Toyota Direct vehicle purchases, delivery and invoicing
  • RDR and COSI vehicles in accordance with Toyota and Lexus guidelines 
  • Organising transport for vehicles 
  • Maintaining the stock board and sales log, as well as notifying the Pre-delivery controller of incoming vehicle stock
  • Invoice dealers for the vehicle swaps and check incoming dealer swap invoices for accuracy
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in regards to Toyota and Lexus vehicles and products 
  • Assist in vehicle registrations if required 
  • Other administrative duties 
  • Keep work area clean and up to date 

Required skills/experience:

  • Excellent computer and clerical skills with attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Previous experience in this role would be advantageous, but not essential 
  • Must have a current QLD drivers' licence 

Parts Interpreter

Key job functions and responsibilities:

  • Identifying parts and components to fulfil Guest orders
  • Consulting catalogues 
  • Materials handing 
  • Retail guest service including processing payments 
  • Receiving and filling orders for parts 
  • Invoice preparation  
  • Organising dispatch 
  • Building and maintaining customer loyalty and support 
  • Maintain safe working environment, adhere to WH&S guidelines 
  • Assist in keeping Parts department clean, organised and up to date
  • Carrying out storage and stock control procedures, including stocktake 

Required skills/experience:

  • Technical parts knowledge in the automotive field
  • Customer service focused 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Advanced computer skills 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to work productively unsupervised 
  • Good organisational skills 
  • Current valid QLD drviers' licence
